About Me
Hi, I’m Wes — and this space is personal to me. Accessibility isn’t just work I do, it’s the way I move through the world. For me it’s not about rules or checklists. It’s about people being able to show up fully, without feeling like they don’t belong.
Why I Do This
I’m blind, which means I know firsthand the quiet sting of being shut out of something everyone else takes for granted. That feeling shapes everything I build here. When I test your site or your app, I’m not just looking for compliance — I’m looking for connection. I want people like me to feel welcome, included, and seen.
My Background
I’ve worked in tech, retail, and accessibility advocacy — but titles don’t matter as much as moments. I’ve sat with people one-on-one, teaching them how to use their devices. I’ve also helped teams untangle the bigger picture so thousands could have a smoother experience. What I’ve learned is simple: every change, even a small one, matters more than you think.
Let’s Work Together
If you’ve made it this far, it probably means you care about accessibility too. That already makes us teammates. I’m not here to overwhelm you — I’m here to walk beside you, help you make choices that feel doable, and remind you why this work matters. Together, we can build something that doesn’t just check boxes, but actually feels good to use.
